Severe Weather News

There are no severe weather warnings at the moment.

Winter Updates: During the Winter months we will provide you with a Road Update to let you know what the road conditions are likely to be and the actions that Stirling Council Transportation Gritting Service will be under taking. In the case of severe weather overnight we will endevour to keep this information as up to date as possible.

Service Disruption

Maintenance Work Closes Forthside Foot Bridge

Pedestrians are being informed that the Forthside Pedestrian Bridge is about to have essential maintenance work carried out by the contractor.

The bridge will be closed from 8am on Monday 6 September 2010 for a period of 2 weeks. The bridge will reopen at 5pm on Friday 17 September. The alternative pedestrian route during the works is via the road bridge at Shore Road.

Work to be carried out will include essential repairs to the lifts and the replacement of vandalised glazing.

Stirling Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
