Equality Framework
Equality and Diversity in Stirling Council
In February 2005 Stirling Council adopted an Equality Policy Framework (EPF) which provided the background for taking forward the equality and diversity agenda within the context of the corporate plan which was in place at the time.
This framework has now been superseded by the Council's statutory equality schemes for race, disability and gender which can be found by clicking on the relevant item in the box above. The diversity and equalities agenda is also being developed through the Council's new Strategic Plan and the Single Outcome Agreement which can be found on the Shaping Stirling page.
The EPF also formed the basis of the Council's Equality Impact Assessment process.
