Painting, drawing and sculpture leading to the creation of your own sculptural masterpiece inspired by the work of Mick Peter being exhibited in The Changing Room.

PRINTING

Design colourful collage pictures and develop using different printing techniques.

ILLUSTRATION/STORYTELLING

Create an illustration for a short story you have already written, or make up a new story during the workshop. Teresa will show you how professional illustrators work and help you make an exciting image for your story.

Have fun learning warm ups, singing games and hits from High School Musical and Glee – no singing experience needed.

Little bit of street dance, little bit of break dancing – and work towards a big dance number. Loose clothing and trainers.

TEXTILES/SEWING

Enter the wonderful world of textiles and sew your own design using different stitches and colourful threads.

TAIKO DRUMMING

A film in a day! Taking photos of historic Stirling, developing a script and taking turns to direct, film and present a fresh view of Stirling life.

Time Machine: The controls are set but where are you going, forwards or backwards in time? Using drama games, improvisation and role-play you can create the story.

RELOADED TV/MAKING A MUSIC VIDEO

Reloaded is the Tolbooth's night for new bands. Reloaded TV is a group of volunteers who film the bands' performances each month, conduct interviews and then post the 10 minute featurettes online. Funded by the Youth Music Initiative, this 2-day course will allow young people to gain experience in the filming techniques and the editing processes involved and give them the opportunity to put their new skills to the test at the Reloaded gig on the evening of 13th August.
