Peter Longworth grew up in Scotland where he began his musical education as a trumpet player.
His exposure to contemporary music as a member of the National Youth Orchestras of Scotland was the catalyst for his first forays into composition and in 2008 he was awarded a scholarship by the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he currently studies under composer, Matthew King.
Now in his final year at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, the Tolbooth is delighted to showcase his compositions.
